Privacy, in plain words.
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Last updated May 1, 2026
We try to collect as little as we can get away with and use it for as little as we can. This page is the long version. If something here is unclear, email hello@doergeeks.com and we'll fix the wording.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, project stage, the kind of help you need, and the message you typed. When you visit the site your browser sends standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, and the page you requested — which we log for operational purposes. We do not run any third-party trackers without your explicit consent.
How we use it
Inquiry data is used solely to reply to your message and, if relevant, to scope a potential engagement. Operational metadata is used to keep the site online, diagnose errors, and investigate abuse. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are delivered to the founder's email inbox and are not stored in any database. Operational server logs are retained for 14 days and then deleted automatically. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policy, which you can review on their site.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your inquiry data or provide a copy of what we hold by emailing hello@doergeeks.com. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings.
